Tucker needs our help - and fast. When Tucker was rescued from a rural shelter in middle part of VA, they noticed a slight limp. The xrays only showed a hairline fracture, which we were advised would heal on its own. Once in HT's care, Tucker was on strict crate rest. It became apparent that it wasn't just his front leg that was injured. He was walking funny and limping on his back legs. After multiple vet visits, it is believed that Tucker has periostitis, which is severe swelling around his bones.  Sometimes this is referred to as "growing pains," and while this is a painful and difficult, he should grow out of it with time.

Unfortunately shortly after the diagnosis, Tucker’s limping became even worse. Repeated x-rays show his prognosis is worsening. The hairline fracture has healed, but his inflammation and pain increases daily - causing him extreme pain just trying to walk. He's currently on medication to help alleviate the pain, but he needs extensive testing.

Please help us change Tucker's life - he only stands a chance with your support!!
