I believe in the power of camp, and I believe in the power of nature.  Join me and help make sure that every great kid gets the chance to experience an adventure of a lifetime!

For many great kids across our country, big hurdles stand in the way of enjoying time in the great outdoors. The cost of technical gear alone limits access to camping, backpacking, and wilderness adventure travel. Organized multi-day trips offered by national providers typically cost $4,000 or more. This has a disproportionate impact on low-income families and young people of color.

Live Oak is committed to eliminating all these barriers.  We are raising scholarship funds to make our summer adventure trips are available to outstanding Live Oak campers, no matter their backgrounds. This way they can all feel the self-confidence that comes from summiting a peak, exploring a cave, or sleeping under a starry sky.

We are raising money to make sure that every kid gets access to great gear, amazing trips, and great community.
