Every year, the Cade Foundation holds The Maryland Race for the Family, which brings people together to support their amazing cause. Â This event is the first Cade event we attended in 2016 and it will forever hold a spot in my heart. Â Being surrounded by those who were also affected by infertility brought comfort to my aching heart and feeling the support of so many made me feel a bit safer and not so isolated in the sad space infertility can bring. Â I began fundraising for this event and thanks to generous friends, families and even strangers, our team has been the top fundraiser for FOUR years with almost $8,500 raised! Â
As you can imagine, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fundraising for so many non-profits has taken a hit, so this year we are back at it to help bring life into families who are affected by infertility. Â On June 12th, The Maryland Race for the Family will take place (virtually) and it would be AMAZING if you would join us! Â For those who are comfortable, please join our team, The Hoffmans Race for the Family, in person at Patterson Park to walk together and show support for those affected by infertility. Â The virtual walk, run, stroll, etc begins at 8:30am and afterwards, our team invites you for lunch and drinks as our way to say thanks! Â If you are more comfortable attending virtually, that is also just as appreciated!
