Let's change this broken system TOGETHER!

Help us start this revolution in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina.

At Elderflower our loved ones will enjoy:

-Resident to caregiver ratio of 2 or 3 to 1 (Typically is 8 or 15 to 1)

-Caregivers who are valued, honored and also treated as family

-A farm and nature setting to inspire and give sense of purpose and meaning

-An organic anti-inflammatory diet that we help grow together

-Integrative medicine including Qi Gong, Meditation, Acupuncture and Chiropractic care, etc.

-Activities and support staff that enrich mental health and wellbeing

-Intergenerational school programs

-A community atmosphere where families always feel welcome

-Optional accommodations for partners and well-behaved pets

-A sacred space for our friends to die with dignity and peace

With the Baby Boomer generation starting to age, Annie Spindler took a look at this broken system and knew something had to change.  The majority of individuals want to age in place at home, but costs and loneliness outweigh the benefits.  If our elders feel loved, honored and respected for who they are and find meaning and joy in their final years, aging may not be as scary at is seems. Annie believes this is an achievable goal and hopes to change the dynamic in which we care for our elders.

Annie's educational background is about as diverse as the elders she hopes to serve. After obtaining an Undergraduate Art degree from the University of Wisconsin, she moved to Seattle Washington where she found a passion for natural medicine. She graduated with an Acupuncture degree from Wu Hsing Tao School in 2013. Her growing family brought her back to Chicago where she owned and operated Serenity Acupuncture, a multidisciplinary wellness clinic. A love for the Blue Ridge Mountains eventually brought Annie to Asheville to finally put down her permanent roots with her husband of 11 years and their two daughters.

A graduate certificate in Aging, Health and Society from Appalachian State University has granted Annie the education and experience to own and operate an Assisted Living facility in the state of North Carolina and she will soon become a licensed Adult Care Administrator in this state.

*Elderflower is not yet a Non-Profit Organization*

We are in the process of applying for 501c3 status.

Eventually, the funds from the 501c3 Non-profit organization will help keep costs lower for residents.

We are also open to impact investors, rent to own, owner financing and other options. Please reach out with any further questions!
