Lost and Scared in Rural VA

This handsome hound boy is Elmer!  As cute as he is, he has lived a pretty rough life so far.  Elmer has been a stray in rural Virginia.  Life for a street dog is very hard and stressful.  They risk death daily by humans, other animals, starvation or disease.  Elmer keeps a smile on his face, but surely he knows his time is limited if he doesn't get help soon.  Homeward Trails would love to get Elmer's life on track and we are hopeful this will be the last hard times Elmer ever has to endure.  Please donate to his rescue today!
