Elwood High Stampede

The Elwood High Stampede is the name of the student organization that helps build school spirit, both throughout the Elwood school system and with Eustis-Farnam when we compete together as the Hi-Line Bulls.  

Loud and proud, this group hosts pep rallies, plans send-offs for State Qualifiers, makes posters for all kinds of school events, works with elementary students, and does a great job of promoting school spirit.  

For many years the Elwood School did not have a spirit club. Starting in 2016 as the Maroon Platoon, this organization has done everything from decorating lockers and sidewalks, to hosting bonfire pep rallies, to bringing in a nationally renowned motivational speaker to address the community and the school system.

We also attend leadership conferences when possible, to give students an opportunity for learning outside our community.
