Save more dogs like Blu!

I have been volunteering and doing intake for Second City Canine Rescue for a few months.  With my work schedule, I haven't been able to foster as much as I used to, so this was my way to still volunteer doing what I love....Saving Dogs!  On August 24th CACC reached out to Second City to see if we could take a puppy that had Parvo.  Parvo can potentially be a fatal disease if medical intervention isn't quick and aggressive.  Second City decided to take in this beautiful girl, and something in my heart told me that I needed to foster her.  Upon getting discharged from 24 hour emergency care, the vet bills were close to $3,000 and a lot of outpatient care is still needed to help increase the chance of survival.  Meet Blu!  This sweet 5 month old girl is a fighter!  She wouldn't have even survived the night if Second City didn't step in and commit to saving her.  Organizations are only able to survive by fundraising.  And this is why I have committed to help raise money to help with the cost to cover Blu's hospital care so Second City can help save another.  Any donation would mean a lot to me and to Second City....and of course Blu!
