Deena's Give the Gift of Literacy Fundraiser

Please help me champion literacy for Detroit students in grades pre-K through 5th grade by donating to the READING IN THE HOLLAND MAZE program.

The purpose of READING IN THE HOLLAND MAZE is to create access to literacy and music for Detroit pre-K through 5 children while incorporating the rich history of Detroit and the NW Goldberg neighborhood.

READING IN THE HOLLAND MAZE builds social cohesion and creates a safe space for children and families to learn and create positive memories through reading, music and interactive instruction.

I have been a board member of NW Goldberg Cares for over a year.  NW Goldberg Cares, a community development corporation located in the heart of Detroit's NW Goldberg neighborhood, aims to improve upon the lives of residents in the predominately African American community by incubating neighborhood businesses, building a strong community, and ensuring a family-friendly neighborhood.
