I Would Rather Be Reading (IWRBR) is a nonprofit organization focused on transforming the educational experiences of children, particularly those in underserved communities. Through its flagship program, "Educate & Elevate," IWRBR provides essential reading and math tutoring, alongside fun and engaging enrichment activities for K-5 students. The program also emphasizes social-emotional learning, helping students develop critical life skills like resilience, empathy, and self-awareness, which are woven into daily lessons.IWRBR serves over 300 students during the school year and nearly 500 in the summer, offering tailored support to meet each child’s unique needs. Many students come from low-income backgrounds and face academic challenges that make it difficult for them to keep up with their peers. 

IWRBR's personalized approach ensures that students not only improve academically but also build confidence, motivation, and a love for learning.
