Beautiful Great Pyrenees Deserves Home of Her Own

Iris is a beautiful 10 month old Great Pyrenees who has had the same family since she was 8 weeks old.  She was purchased to be a livestock/fowl guard dog, but she has not done well with farm animals.  Iris has been raised with a lot of love from her humans, but it is clear she isn't meant to be a working farm dog.  It was a hard decision for her family, but she isn't serving the purpose they had bought her for so they decided to surrender her to a shelter.  The good news is that in most homes in the DC area, farm animals aren't a part of daily life so Iris should fit right in!  It is never too late to socialize a dog to an indoor home and a new family, and Iris is no different.  With a little TLC, this fluffy beauty is going to shine.  Please sponsor her new life's journey today!
