Kate's Healthcare is a Human Right Fundraiser

I joined the Vermont Workers Center in 2007 as a student getting ready to graduate college with a lifetime of debt and no health insurance.  Eleven years later, the VWC is my community, my extended family, my continuing education and a place where my neighbors and I don't have to feel powerless to the challenges we face.  In 2011 we won a major step in the campaign for universal healthcare, but 8 years later, we're still fighting for that dream to come true. Those who profit off the healthcare system have billions to spend keeping the current system in place. We have each other. If you want to support the students, single moms, veterans, teachers, nurses, folks without housing and all of us fighting for everyone in this state (and then the this country) to have a right to healthcare, then support this fundraiser.
