Michael Jenkins - Support my BDG 10.0 crossing!

When I first started prone paddling, I mainly did it out of a selfish desire to try to keep my aging body fit.  Mostly paddling alone or with my one friend who also had a board, I began to feel that there had to be more to the sport.  I started following local paddlers on social media, eventually joining them on some of their social paddles.  What an amazing and diverse group of likeminded individuals – a true community.   It was during one of these events that I was first exposed to the Ben Carlson Foundation.  Upon hearing Ben’s story and the impact his life has had on so many others, I immediately knew I wanted to be part of it and decided to commit the next year to training to cross the Catalina channel in his honor and raise funds for the charitable foundation that bears his name.
