I am helping a friend of mine in Philippines to fundraise for him and his family. Every help is appreciated!

"Late night of October 22, 2020, a huge fire razed our residential area in Davao City, burning down our home. As the incident happened so quickly, my family was not able to save most of our belongings. Our whole house was burned to the ground alongside 8 other houses in my neighbourhood. Fortunately, me, my wife and my 4 years old son managed to escape unharmed.

The whole situation has devastated us and completed turn our lives upside down. My work contract will end next week and I have no idea where I can find cash to support my wife and my son. Turning to external help is the only option I have now to ensure my wife and son have food to eat. I sincerely ask for help from kind strangers to help us during this challenging time. Any amount will make a huge difference for me and my family and I will thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am currently living at my aunt place with my wife and my son and I really need some cash to tide us over for the next 2 months while I seek for more help and solutions to bring us back on our feet again.

The estimated cost we require to ensure basic needs are met:

Food
$7-8 USD/day - $480 USD for 2 months

Milk for my son
$10 USD/biweeky - $40 USD for 2 months

Temporarily wooden house
$1,500 USD

If you are able to donate basic household items like kitchenware, beddings and more to help my family start anew, please contact me via email.

I’m very lost at the moment but is trying to be strong for my family. I plead for your good hearts to help us get through this. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. Please, anyone."

As mightycause does not allow email addresses to be placed, please drop me a message and i'll provide you with my friend's email so you can contact him directly.
