In Memory of Danny McBride

Camp Erin NYC is a free, weekend long bereavement camp for kids who've lost a loved one. I attended Camp Erin after my dad passed when I was 17 and know first hand how amazing this experience is for the children who attend! A mix of traditional, fun summer activities led by dedicated and passionate staff, and group grief activities led by professional counselors, this camp provides a safe place for children to process their loss in the company of others going through similar experiences. Camp Erin is where healing and the fun of being a kid overlap and amazing things happen!

Since attending camp, I've volunteered or 5 summers, and 2023 will be my 6th! Camp runs on the generous donations of families, friends, and the community to put on an awesome weekend to families at no cost to them. Any amount is greatly appreciated, please consider donating!

1. $50 – funds an art project for 10 campers
2. $100 – provides camp comfort items (blankets, stuffed animals) for 10 campers
3. $200 – funds grief education supplies (journals, healing stones, luminary ceremony supplies) for 10 campers
4. $500 – funds the weekend cost for 1 camper
5. $700 – funds the weekend cost for music therapy
