The Arc Caddo-Bossier's Frost Industries

The Arc Caddo-Bossier's employment division, known as Frost Industries, provides employment opportunities and job training for men and women with disabilities. This allows them to be a part of the workforce and make their own money. Frost Industries, located at the James Conly Center in Shreveport, is a full-fledged business that offers commercial laundry/linen services, custodial services, lawn care and more. Frost Industries' largest custodial contracts are Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, LA, and the Louisiana State Office Building in Shreveport, LA. They also provide commercial linen services for many local businesses, including Orthopedic Specialists of Louisiana, Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home, Lake Bistineau State Park, and Barksdale Air Force Base. In addition to employing adults with disabilities ourselves, we also can help them find work out in the community. Many of the individuals we serve via our Community Living Division work at other businesses, such as Walmart, Popeye’s, and Brookshire’s.this

Also under the umbrella of employment services is our Conly Day Program. Also housed at the James Conly Center, the Conly Day Program is a daily (M-F) workshop that offers productive, community-centered activities for adults with disabilities who may not be able to work a traditional job. This program serves over 200 adults with disabilities who participate in crafts, skill-building projects and activities, and social gatherings out in the community. The Arc Caddo-Bossier’s Frost Industries/Conly Day Program provides options for men and women of all ages and all disabilities, based on their individual needs.
