Hello,
My name is Scott Taylor and I am raising money for the Marc Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, which is a non-profit organization for pancreatic cancer research.
My father-in-law was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer around the time I met my now wife, around nine years ago. Having watched him courageously battle this horrible disease and hearing too many stories of great human beings having their lives taken by this disease it has motivated me to run a half marathon and raise awareness and money to fight pancreatic cancer.
I chose to raise money for the Lustgarten Foundation because as the nation’s largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research, 100 percent of all the money that is donated to the foundation goes to research.
To help raise awareness for my fundraising campaign I will be running on Sunday, April 26 in the AmeriHealth New Jersey April Fools Half Marathon. My goal is to have $1,000 raised by the time I finish running the half marathon.
I am very thankful and appreciate any donations that you can provide.
Peace and love,
Scott
