$22,000 goal

On June 26th and June 27th, we will come together not only as a nation, but as a community in support of National PTSD Awareness Day, and our shared mission to end veteran suicide. MOVEment for Mental Health, or M2H, is a distance challenge aimed at bringing our community together to draw attention to the veteran and active-duty military PTSD and suicide epidemic.

I was raised as an Air Force brat, am currently married to an OEF Army combat veteran, and have been working closely with hundreds veterans and active duty service members for the last several years, so I understand all too well the daily struggles our warriors face and how it all affects their friends and families. I will be walking 22 miles around Stillwater, OK with 22 pounds on my back to bring attention to the 22 veterans we lose daily to suicide due to the silent struggles they endure.
