Friends of Barnabas 2021 Fundraiser

Wow - what a year 2020 has been.  I know each of us experienced at least one moment of frustration at some point this year.  While we in the US debate and grumble about government response to Covid, or how working from home is a challenge, or how certain groceries are hard to get, there are others around the world that have had more than their share of challenges as well.

On top of Covid-19, Honduras has been hit by two massive hurricanes a few days apart.  For me its not hard to see how my personal frustrations are small in comparison to what our neighbors are going through.

Due to travel restrictions, US teams from FOBF are not going to Honduras at the moment.  What is important to internalize is that the basic motivations for mountain medical missions have not changed just because we cannot travel.  If anything, the need is dramatically increased!  FOBF staff has been great about finding new and interesting ways to continue to support our communities.   One great idea includes a medical box in our communities that we can keep stocked with minimal contact until our teams can get back into the swing of things.

YOU CAN HELP!!!  The best way to participate in helping the people of Honduras is to consider providing funding to support medications that we source in Honduras and support FOBF as we continue to find creative ways to help our communities.
