Hello family and friends! Tomorrow is Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving for LGBTQ+ organizations. Gender Spectrum is honored to be participating.

Gender Spectrum is the supportive group (started by family friends Pamela Wool and Joel Baum) the parents of one of August's best friend classmates from Shu-ren. This group has not only provided tremendous support to me and August, but has been a leading non-profit group in the Bay Area that helps educate parents, faculty and provides networks for LGBTQ+ students. It supports our institution Crystal Springs Uplands School and has been a wonderful resource for my peers. Thank you for considering supporting this organization.

About/note from Gender Spectrum:

In this time of social distancing, we have seen large increases in the number of transgender and non-binary young people, and their parents and loved ones, who have joined our online support groups in search of connection. Gender Spectrum wants to be there for them, to create the community they seek, and to provide the resources they need to navigate their gender journeys or support the young people in their lives who are navigating them. The work we do is life-changing.

We have raised $1,000 so far. We are grateful for those who have already given. But we have not yet reached our goal. No amount is too small, and all of it goes directly toward supporting the transgender youth and their families in our programs.

Won't you join us to help create gender sensitive and inclusive environments for all children and teens.
