In 2022, TGI's Freedom initiative hosted its first "Freedom Fest" in order to train and identify potential full-time facilitators to lead groups in Uganda. After 5 months of live-in training, 99 students graduated. Out of the 99, some have been selected to facilitate groups in the different districts of the country. Months after Freedom Fest, we are actively training around 900 Ugandan church leaders through these facilitators. This can be duplicated in other countries.
Freedom Fest Tanzania will be held in 2024! 100 students have accepted the invitation.
If 100 people or teams of people sponsored one of these students for $1,000, the cost of the training would be covered.
We look forward to see God work in Tanzania as He has in Uganda.
