Now hear about the FTR Music Program and help us launch this brand new outlet for creative expression.

This is a revolutionary program within the recovery community -- the only treatment aftercare outlet that uses music to continue the healing/recovery process!

And we have Tony Ollerton, a music-centered psychotherapist, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapist, and PhD candidate in health psychology to lead our creative music program.  Accompanied by think benjamin, our own hip-hop artist, and inspirational voice of FTR, the two facilitate groups of a host of FTR members—different voices, backgrounds, instruments, and energies.  All unfurled in the FTR studio where you just have to show up, share and let loose with what’s inside of you.

The FTR Music Program:

  • Offers opportunities for individuals in recovery to engage in the art of music by creating, writing, playing and recording music together.

  • Is open to all- all walks of life, levels of musical experience and abilities, and

  • Produces music as a source of healing, self-discovery and community connection.

There’s more...

The FTR Music Program offers 6 monthly sessions in which participants focus on collective song writing, singing, instrument layering, recording and performing. There are informal free form sessions where individuals can work on their own lyrics, work collectively on songs, and have the opportunity to get behind the microphone.

Starting in October, attend our series of quarterly performances- Days of Expression through Creative Connection. The days will begin with a group physical workout- a special session of our popular Saturday bootcamp. The exercises are driven and rhythmed by the music of FTR. There is a powerful synergy between moving your body and moving your mind. It’s a conversation between the movements of the exercisers and the movements of the musicians. We create for ourselves, for our fellow FTR members and for the public at large.

But we need your Support!

We need your help to grow, to give the gift of music to those in recovery- so they can give their music back to us.  We aspire to offer live concerts, artist mentoring, and continue group sessions.

So Donate today and please come to our debut performance on August 16th to support individuals in recovery as they engage in the art of music for the purposes of healing, self-discovery, and community connection.
