The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University is dedicated to advancing medical education and healthcare quality in South Florida. Our mission is to prepare socially accountable healthcare professionals, including physicians and scientists, who can positively impact individuals and communities. Through an innovative environment emphasizing clinical excellence and research, we aim to lead in community health transformation by seamlessly integrating education, research, and clinical care. Upholding values of Scholarship, Innovation, Inclusion, Integrity, and Service, we are committed to innovative healthcare and ensuring a healthier future for all.

FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (HACCOF) have joined forces to create the Junior Doctors of Tomorrow (JDOT) program, aimed at helping underrepresented high school students pursue careers in medicine. We seek philanthropic support to help 60 students from disadvantaged backgrounds access this opportunity. Your support will empower these students to overcome barriers and increase diversity in the medical profession. Join us in shaping the future of medicine and promoting diversity in the medical field by providing these deserving students with the resources and support they need to excel.
