For those who are unfamiliar with Wesley House, they are a community organization in Louisville supporting education for low-income families. On average over 110 individuals get support from their three programs daily.
-WesKids is an early childhood development program. Think getting kids ready for kindergarten. 80% of WesKids are tested ready for kindergarten after our program compared to 58% in Louisville and 38.4% for low-income families. Wow!!!
-Young Brilliant Achievers is a free Out of school/After school program for low-income students K-8 most of which live and go to school in the Newburg area. This is a safe space for them to come after-school and during breaks from school for enrichment activities.
-And lastly their WorkForce Development program is adult education for the low-income, Hispanic and immigrant population in Preston Highway corridor. Last year over 150 adults 18-72 participated in one of our classes.
