The Garden of Ideas is a 13 acre botanical and stroll garden in Ridgefield, Ct. Started 32 years ago by Joseph Keller, the Garden is a cultivated and wild landscape centered around a stunning natural marsh.  Thousands of people visit this suburban oasis each year; children believe they've entered a magical land.

In an effort to make the Garden of Ideas a permanent, self-sustaining non-profit enterprise, we are hoping to raise enough money to purchase a portion of the the privately held property.  This parcel of land includes a rental property with sufficient cash flow to fund the annual operating budget of Friends of the Garden of Ideas; this will allow the maintenance and continued expansion and improvement of the Garden of Ideas.

We've already asked people to pledge $200 a year for three years, and have  raised $150,000 from 150 people.  This crown-funding campaign is to encourage smaller donations from anyone willing to help keep the Garden of Ideas alive and thriving.
