Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia is a very rare "treatable but incurable" blood cancer.

$1,100

raised by 11 people

$1,000 goal

In March 2018, just prior to my 75th birthday, I was diagnosed with a very rare blood cancer, Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia (WM for short---for obvious reasons!) Now, 2  1/2 years later, I am feeling amazing, thanks to a wonderful doctor, my general healthy lifestyle and positive attitude before and since diagnosis, and so much support from those on the same journey, especially through the IWMF which conducts worldwide research. Join us---virtually this year--- on Aug 28th (or any day/time you'd like) at 9am in doing a 5K walk to help us raise funds as IWMF looks for a cure for this rare condition. 100% of donations go toward our search for a cure. Thank you and if you have questions, contact me at nannijean2@gmail.com and please check out the webpage (www.iwmf.com) for more information on WM. www.iwmf.com
