This girl is a fighter like none other. Having been abandoned at a remote beach area where potable water does not exist and mange infects every dog who is left there, we found this girl just in time. She was walking slowly when we approached to offer water and food. 
Sweet Gigi moments after we caught herWhile the other dogs scattered, she came to get some food. It took us almost 30 minutes to distract her with sound and the food but we quickly threw a blanket over her and had to use a leash to secure her mouth in case she bit out of fear. But she DIDN'T. She was terrified and so weak but allowed us to put her in our car and whisk her away to what would be her new life. The life she was meant to have. 
Our girl just three months later after meds!It took months of medications to get her skin cleared up and the infection to abate. And of course, she has heartworm. But she now has a chance to travel and we must raise the $830 to get her on the flight and here so we can treat her heartworm and let her settle in. HELP!
