Ginger is a tan/red, 2-year-old hound mix that is 40 pounds of sweetness. This precious girl was found running around rural Virginia lost, hungry, scared, and trying to find a kind samaritan for help.Upon being picked up the a local rural animal shelter, they found she had a prolapsed vagina (making it hard for her to urinate, causing further issues), but her stray hold only lasted so long, as the shelter was full and she needed immediate surgery. Thankfully, another local rescue picked Ginger up and took her in, also getting her the surgery she needed. The surgery went well and she is healing just fine; however, they still haven’t been able to find her a home. Ginger’s best shot at finding her loving forever home is at Homeward Trails – can you help sponsor bringing her here so that she can receive the TLC she needs and the family she deserves?
