We empower and help women who are survivors of domestic violence, survivors of human trafficking, and single moms get to the places that matter.   Even with mentorship and financial support, if these women do not have transportation they will return to the tragic life they so desperately want to escape. 

This is Pat's story of how Heirborn Servant's "Give Rides" program has truly changed her life:

My story begins with God meeting me on the floor where I was, in a different country, thrilled to be pregnant and absolutely terrified at the decision of what to do, where to go.. or how.  He made me brave enough to make some hard decisions, that led to other hard decisions, with many blessings in between. God put the people in my life He knew could be an example of His heart and hands. At the time I needed it most, Heirborn Servants began helping me with Lyft rides so I could work without using every penny I had just to get back and forth. Not only that, they prayed for me, and truly cared about me and my son.  For months, they continued helping me as I went from job to job, all the while believing that God was working His hands into all things to make life better for my son and I. They saw my strength and that I was not a quitter.  Now Heirborn has blessed me with a beautiful vehicle all my own. It's impossible to summarize gratitude for a gift like this. Now I can not only go back and forth to work without carrying an arm full of things, my son, and a big car seat, but I can do the things that moms do. I can take my son to the park. I was able to plan his birthday party and bring ourselves. I can go back and forth to church and the grocery store without it costing $20-30.  Heirborn has helped make life POSSIBLE. Because of them, I was also introduced to another amazing woman who has given me a work from home job that I can do in addition to the one I have. At so many points where a day could have broken my spirit, the Heirborn team was there to remind me I was strong enough with Christ within me to keep pushing, and that He truly cared for my son and me. I can't express how grateful I am. This is an organization that goes above and beyond!
