Give & Surf's Giving December 2020

Give & Surf is stoked to kick off our 6th Annual Giving Tuesday/December campaign on #GivingTuesday, Tuesday, December 1st, an international day dedicated to giving back!  

2020 has been a  difficult and stressful year for everyone.  Bocas has been especially affected due to the complete halt of tourism and thus lack of jobs for most locals. Furthermore the shutdown of the public schools has caused most local students to lose out on an entire year of learning, putting them even farther behind their peers in more affluent areas that have access to internet, computers, and online classes.

Give & Surf is looking forward to reopening its educational programs and community centers in January 2021 to help close this educational gap and provide much needed services and programs to the indigenous youth around the archipelago.  

Your help is needed now more than ever! With no volunteers for the last ten months that provide a critical revenue stream for our programs, we are counting on generous donations from our supporters to help us cover our program expenses including local teachers' salaries, school supplies, healthy snacks, transportation for students, and higher education scholarships.

Please give consider making a gift to our Giving December campaign to help us reach our $20,000 goal and ensure that all the local children of Bocas have access to a brighter future!
