Give & Surf's Giving December 2021

Give & Surf is stoked to kick off our 7th Annual Giving December campaign on #GivingTuesday, Tuesday, November 30th, an international day dedicated to giving back! 

The global COVID pandemic has been stressful and trying for everyone. In Panama, public schools continue to be closed for the second straight year resulting in the most disadvantaged students falling further and further behind their peers. Most of the students we work with do not have access to internet, books and other educational resources, or other ways to supplement their learning while there is no school.

Give & Surf is proud to have almost all of its programs reopen and to be serving hundreds of children each week! Our local teachers are providing high quality, engaging activities and lessons to the local indigenous Ngobe and Afro-Caribbean youth that are most in need of assistance.   

Your help is needed now more than ever! We have had very few volunteers since the pandemic first started and thus are counting on generous donations from our supporters to help us cover our program expenses including local teachers' salaries, school supplies, transportation for students, and higher education scholarships.

Please give consider making a gift to our Giving December campaign to help us reach our $20,000 goal and ensure that all of the local children of Bocas have access to a brighter future!
