#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of generosity and unity, a day to come together and give back in response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19, no matter who or where we are.

At a time when we are home together #GivingTuesdayNow is a great opportunity to work together to spread generosity, build community, and solidify support for shelter animals and our community programs. If we reach $5,000 in donations, our Outreach Coordinator, Bailey, will shave her hair off! If we reach $10,000 in donations, a shelter volunteer, Jenni, will join Bailey by shaving her hair off too!

If you are able, please consider making a gift to our organization. The Humane Society of St. Joseph County impacts the lives of more than 3,300 animals each year. As a nonprofit, we rely on private donations to provide these helpless, homeless animals with their second chance.

Your monetary donation not only aids with the daily care of homeless pets, but also funds many educational and life saving programs offered by our organization. By donating, you are providing lifesaving veterinary care to shelter pets, supporting our Pet Safe program, providing enrichment and behavior modification training for cast-off pets, and furthering our mission to enhance the human-animal bond through the compassionate care of animals and community education.

Your Gift Stays Local! You can rest assured that any donation you make to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County helps animals right here in your own community. We rely on private donations to save the lives of local animals.

With your help, we are able to continue to provide over $100,000 worth of veterinary and medical care to our shelter pets. Your generous donation will help us cover other expenses such as utilities and cleaning supplies. These resources are vital in our mission in providing exceptional care to our communities’ homeless pets.
