Friends! I am raising money to help Richmond Triangle Players in the Give OUT Day fundraiser! This non-profit theatre company does amazing work and is a vital part of the cultural fabric of RVA. They give a huge amount of visibility to the LGBTQ community through arts and advocacy throughout Central Virginia. They believe in LGBTQ talent and gave me my first professional directing job. They took a chance on an unknown kid back then and I will always be grateful. Just $10 will help them qualify for challenges and prizes in the national Give OUT Day fundraiser! Thank you!!!
ABOUT RTP's GIVE OUT DAY CHALLENGE:
Please help Richmond Triangle Players compete for thousands of dollars in prize money through Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ community. Prizes are awarded based on the number of unique donors (determined based on email and address) contributing $10 or more through this platform between now and midnight on June 30, 2020. Last year, 167 unique donors supported us, which earned us $2,000 additional in prize money and a 3rd place regional finish! Can you help get to this year’s goal of 200 donors?

For over a quarter-century, Richmond Triangle Players has transformed our community’s conversations about diversity and inclusion through the production of LGBTQ-themed works. A nonprofit, professional theatre company organized in 1993, RTP delivers adventurous and entertaining theater as the leading voice in the community’s explorations of equality, identity, affection and family, across sexual orientation and gender spectrums.
Since its inception, Richmond Triangle Players has filled a significant void in our community’s cultural life. RTP is the only professional theatre company in the Richmond area – and the longest continually operating one in the entire Mid-Atlantic region — which expressly and regularly serves the LGBTQ community. While other local theatres occasionally produce plays with LGBTQ content, only Richmond Triangle Players has made an ongoing commitment to LGBTQ artists, issues, audiences and community support.
