Adorable Pup Mix Living a Sad Life at a Shelter

Gordy has no idea how or why he is stuck at a rural VA shelter.  What he does know is that he is not happy about being there and wants to get out to live his best doggie life!  Gordy is a sweet boy but understandably getting a little depressed about living in a cement dog run every day.  He has nothing to do but listen to loud barking all day and stare at a chain link fence keeping him confined.  Shelter life is really hard on even the hardiest dog - there is no love, no comforts of a family or a home, and a lot of uncertainly.  The animals don't know who to trust or if they will ever get out.  Gordy is doing his best to keep his spirits up, but at less than a year old, he really deserves a full life of stability and love!  Please sponsor Gordy today so we can get him to Homeward Trails where he'll be sure to flourish and make a new owner so very happy.
