Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you so much for visiting Mia's fundraising page! Our family has been so blessed by having Mia's amazing service dog, Epic since December of 2013. As he nears retirement age, we are in the process of fundraising for Mia's future service dog when Epic passes the baton and retires in style with our family.
Mia has been placed in class 4 of 2021 at 4 Paws for Ability in Ohio (where we got our sweet Epic). We need to raise $8,500 to help our future angel dog get the training and care they need to be ready for Mia!!!
As many of you know, Mia has Dravet Syndrome. There is no cure for Dravet and it comes with hard to control seizures, gait and stability issues, cognitive delays and increase risk of SUDEP (sudden unexplained death in epilepsy) and other various issues. Our new dog will continue to give our family peace of mind as well as a loving companion for Mia as she enters her teen/adult years.
Your support means so much to us. No amount is too small!! Please feel free to share our story with your friends and thank you again for your help.
