Hi, I am Gregory Abowd, and in 2008 I founded the Atlanta Autism Consortium. I currently serve as the President and Chair of the Board. I have two young adult children on the spectrum, Aidan (23) and Blaise (20) and they drive me in this mission.
I started AAC to help bring together the different communities around Atlanta contributing to and impacted by autism. We officially became a nonprofit in 2012 and have been providing information seminars on many topics to the community and worked to identify opportunities to help individuals, families, teachers, clinicians, researchers, and anyone else wanting to learn more about autism and how to provide a better life to all involved.
I am proud of our accomplishments, and ask that you help us with our continuing mission with your generous donation. I have set an ambitious goal of $5000, but I am confident friends and family will be up to the challenge. We have a matching program in place this year that will double all contributions up to $10,000. Anything you can do will help.
