GREAT NEWS!

Update posted 2 years ago

We have officially reached the fundraising goal for Max's service dog! Thanks to everyone who has donated through here, Facebook, directly to 4Paws, and directly to us. We are so excited to close the fundraising chapter and looking forward to moving into the next stages of preparing for Max to be assigned a service dog!

Maximus was diagnosed with autism and autoimmune encephalitis at 5 years old. He is now 8 and has trouble with public spaces, changes in routine, and many daily tasks. Because of his encephalitis, his brain can become inflamed and make typical processing harder for him and painful.

However, Maximus has been approved for a service dog! Max's dog will be his support in the areas that he struggles with due to Autism and his other health issues. His service dog will make achieving day to day tasks possible for Max and we are grateful for any donation you are willing to make in helping us raise the funds to achieve this goal.

The total goal for Max to receive his service dog is $17,000 but due to generous donations already received, the updated goal is now $9,666.
