Harrison was out cruising the neighborhood enjoying the crisp fall weather when suddenly something snapped on his leg. He was stuck. Could not move. He thrashed about, terrified and in pain, trying to get free. But he could not. His leg was caught in an illegal snare trap. He would die there. In pain. Dehydrated and starved to death if not by hypothermia. There is no crueler death. Only by pure luck did someone happen upon this poor kitty. And thankfully, Twin County Humane Society volunteers sprung into action when animal control could not be reached to help. With no training no how to do so, they figured out how to release this poor kitty and managed to hold onto him so he didn't drag himself off quickly with his mutilated leg.
They rushed him to the vet where he now faces amputation. These traps are awful. Harrison did not deserve this. No animal does. Without the funds to pay for this poor kitty's amputation he will face euthanasia. He cannot live with his leg so badly injured.
