$15,000 goal

Most of you know that The Kilgoris Project has been close to our family's heart for more than ten years. As Dave and I kick off our 9th Back-to-School Challenge, I just returned from my 7th trip to Kilgoris. I'm fortunate to be in a front row seat to the impact YOU have in Kilgoris. I see students thriving, teachers caring for students intentionally, and an entire community transforming before my eyes.

I'm also struck by the need for more. More students should benefit the way 1,800 current TKP students do. More students need access to incredible teachers, fully stocked classrooms, and the chance to further their education in high school and beyond.

This year, Dave and I are raising $10,000 to support more than three TKP classrooms with teachers, supplies, enrichment programs, and more. Will you join us again and help blow this goal away? :)

With gratitude,

Chris, Dave, Noah and Grace

Meet Neema (pictured above): I first met this shy, bright student in 2019 at TKP's Oloturot Preschool. Every visit since, we seek each other out. Her shy, sweet demeanor... My "over-the-top" excitement and brightly colored sunglasses. :) Neema means Grace in Swahili, and I think of this girl often--one face amongst many. I know that your generosity will lead this star student to a bright future.

About this year's campaign

TKP's terrific students and teachers are back on track with the Kenyan school calendar after experiencing COVID disruptions for the past two years.

Growing preschoolers and primary school students walk to TKP's healthy, safe campuses ready to enjoy nutritious meals, fantastic teachers, enrichment programs, and more.

With your support, we're investing in our students, teachers, and community to a greater level in 2023 and beyond.

  • We're focused on impacting MORE kids by implementing the new Kenyan national curriculum, creative classroom experiences, and investing in all 6 TKP campuses.
  • We're investing in TKP's top-notch teachers by providing training, mentoring and professional development; while remaining committed to paying competitive salaries and benefits.
  • We're strengthening and expanding our Alumni Program by hosting alumni mentoring and support programs--once a TKP student, always a TKP student!

This summer, our team is raising $150,000 to educate and care for school-aged children in rural Kenya. Will you partner with us to equip our students and teachers for the best school year yet?
