Hawk's Harrowing Week

Hawk, once a cat who loved to eat and would remind his human to feed him, suddenly stopped eating. He wouldn't eat or drink and was declining quickly. He required an IV in order to administer fluids and other medication. He needed an X-ray to check for obstruction and an ultrasound to look for deformities.

The tests are expensive but necessary - the vet believes he either has an inflammatory disease or he could have cancer.

Hawk has finally started eating, but he's not out of the woods yet. We have to see how he responds to treatment and how the condition develops to tell if he has cancer.

He's going to require some treatment, but we are looking for help covering the costs of his veterinary care and tests.
