We have all been effected by the unprecedented events of COVID-19. None more than us, here at Heaven Can Wait. We closed our doors on March 18 due to government directives, we had to cancel appointments which impacted several rescue organizations and the general public. This couldn't have happened at a worse time, with kitten season just kicking off which has meant unthinkable numbers of kittens being produced as we speak. We are now working on a strategic comeback plan, however we need YOUR help. As a small, non profit, we receive no government funding and rely solely on generous donations to keep our doors open and to continue our promise to keep animals out of the shelters due to an effective spay & neuter program. We assist low income households who cannot afford full service veterinary spay & neuter services, we also work closely with animal control and offer some neighborhoods a discount if they receive a citation for non compliance. We give a large number of dogs another chance at life via our successful Pups on Parole program, and we've fixed permanent loving homes for many cats who are living in our Pawsitivly Senior program. We are able to make all this possible, thanks to you!
Therefore, we are reaching for the stars in this years #GivingTuesdayNow2020! This global day of giving and unity is an emergency response to unprecedented need of COVOD-19. This fundraiser will hopefully give us the boost that we really need to resume our lifesaving programs. #GivingTuesdayNow is an opportunity for people around the word to stand united & at a time when we are all experiencing difficulties due to the pandemic, generosity is what brings people together across the globe.
