UPDATE!
Young Abdul is still fighting to get back to normal. The great news is his vitals were stable enough for him to be discharged from the hospital this past week. The bad news, even though he is back home with his foster, he is still receiving intensive care to keep him stable. He still has a long journey ahead before he is feeling his best. He will still need fluids, medications and many appointments to get him back in tip top shape which comes at a price.
Only six months old, Abdul has been diagnosed with pneumonia and it is serious. The pain with every breath is very concerning and he needs help now! At such a young age his body is having difficulty fighting it off: unable to regulate his body temperature or keep on weight and he's struggling to breathe.
Abdul's condition quickly deteriorated and he had to be hospitalized. He even spent Christmas receiving round-the-clock care from the vet. He has an IV to deliver medication that is currently keeping him stable. But he's not out of the woods yet. It appears something in addition to the pneumonia is going on and his little body is struggling to fight it all off. This poor young boy should be running and playing but is suffering. Abdul deserves to feel his best and with your help we can end his pain and help him find his forever home.
Please help us make sure he sees the new year!
