Meet Angus! Angus was an extremely emaciated rescue from the streets of rural Virginia. As a stray we do not know the horrors he faced living on the streets but do know he needs our help now!

Upon arrival at Homeward Trails, our staff noticed a very pronounced limp that clearly made him uncomfortable. After further examinations, Angus was scheduled to have x-rays to find the cause- we feared it could have been a fracture or dislocated shoulder. The results have came back and it actually seems to be a birth defect that has affected his ability to walk. With this diagnosis he will need pain management and medication for the rest of his life. This condition will most likely cause him to have early onset arthritis as well. Angus has known nothing but a life of pain and struggle. We want to give him relief and show him what a happy, care-free life is. With your help we can get him feeling comfortable for the first time in his life!
