This is me and nana 4 years ago. 4 years ago was the day I came out to my family as trans. The look on my dad's face made me so happy. (R.I.P dad) Knowing that my family loved me for me made me feel safe. It gave me hope faith and trust. My mom and dad (step dad) have been and amazing support. They are always there when I need them. My sister's are always there for me when I have a bad day at school. And it just makes me feel better knowing that I have the support love care hope faith trust and peace. Being #lgbt is hard being #trangender is even harder. I was 4 when I realized that I wanted to be a boy. I was scared to tell my parents because a lot of times we LGBTs get looked out by our own parents. We get shut out mistreated just from these 4 words (mom dad I'm LGBT) and I was scared it would happen to me but because of a special kid I found the courage, the strength, a the passion to be free 2 years later on this very Important day  told my entire family that I was trans. It was a very emotional day for all of us, but mostly me. Knowing that my family accepted me and comforted me knowing that they were there for me was the best thing I could ever ask for. Now that I'm a boy I hope to one day inspire someone else just like how that kid inspired inspired me.
