Minnie Pearl nka as Duchess is doing great!
Because of you and your generous donation, Minnie Pearl had her dental surgery and is doing great....she has been adopted and she is now Duchess!
Her surgery was a big success. She will never miss the six incisors that were extracted....vet said they were ready to come out. Â The canines could be saved since the bone and root structure around those two teeth were in good shape. As well, two root canals were done. A lot of work on her mouth for sure and all of you made this possible.
Duchess is now in a wonderful home and her new family loves her.

She came to Take Me Home Pet Rescue when she was rescued from the streets of South Dallas after TMHPR jumped into action to help her and her nine babies (yes, you read that right!) who were born under a trailer! Her tough life was showing on her sad face and thin frame.
We are unsure of Minnieâs past but her top and bottom front teeth are worn down to nubs and she has some cracked teeth that are likely to cause infection and long term discomfort if not extracted as soon as possible. Extractions are definitely in the cards. The vet has determined that there are at least five teeth that have issues and her gums need some attention, too. Life on the streets takes its toll in many ways.
Minnie Pearl has recently gotten past grueling heartworm treatment and the vet has determined that now is the time to take care of the issues with her mouth. Yes, this girl has had quite the road to a healthier and brighter future â puppies born outside in the dirt, heartworm and cracked teeth â a lot to deal with for sure.
This beautiful girl deserves the absolute best out of life. Our wish for Minnie Pearl is a loving family, kids to snuggle with and lots and lots of love. Â She loves back BIG TIME. She holds no grudges against humans.
