Black Friday Blitzkrieg of Awesome

Open Hand prepares, packs and delivers over 5,000 healthy meals each day. This year, for Black Friday, Katie and I are choosing to help drop off some love to our Atlanta brothers and sisters.

COVID has hit so many so hard. Demand for Open Hand's home-delivered meals has increased by an unprecedented 26% — amounting to an additional 75,000 meals Open Hand provides. 

Open Hand is a non-profit close to both our hearts. I first volunteered for Project Open Hand in 2007 packing meals on Saturdays. Katie has been a donor for many years, as well. Due to the struggles so many people are facing with COVID, we will be volunteering to deliver meals to our Atlanta brothers and sisters who

Due to demand and need for help, Open Hand now ship meals to rural counties in southwest Georgia in dire need of their services. A donation helps Open Hand continue their awesome work as well as increasing their statewide footprint into middle and north Georgia.
