Sick puppy stranded in shelter

Finnick is an adorable 9 month old lab mix puppy who needs our help. Out of his 9 months on earth, he has spent 7 months in a shelter, meaning he has been there since he was only 2 months old. He's missing out on critical socialization milestones even though the shelter staff is trying their best to keep his spirits up. Contributing to why he's been at the shelter so long is his health. Finnick has struggled with urinary tract infections and has crystals in his urine. This means he needs a prescription diet and may be something he needs to be on the rest of his life. The diet isn't cheap and the shelter just doesn't have the budget for it and continued monitoring. The shelter is hoping that by finding a rescue with more resources, Finnick will meet an adopter who loves him and can provide for him and his health. Please help us not only find Finnick a family, but also provide for his care until that happens.
