Given Away by His Own Family

Hank is so sad. This sweet 4 year old Jack Russell mix was once living in a home where he thought he would be forever. Unfortunately, his owner could not take care of him any longer and felt they had to surrender Hank to a rural West Virginia Shelter. Hank has no idea what has happened and just misses his owner. How could we blame him? Being taken away for a car ride with your family, and then being left alone at a shelter while they drive away is heartbreaking. Hank deserves way more than what his family was able to show him. Homeward Trails would be devastated if poor Hank wasted away in the shelter.
