ONLY 10 WEEKS OLD AND IN CRITICAL CONDITION!

HAPPENING IN REAL TIME!!!

Marlo is only 10 weeks old and currently fighting for his life. He was rescued last month during our Trap-Neuter-Return efforts in Galax, Virginia where he was found outdoors in freezing temperatures. After being placed in a foster home, Marlo started showing some worrisome signs: he was not as interested in eating as his siblings, wasn’t as active, and couldn’t seem to keep on weight. Last Friday, he started to crash - he had severe diarrhea, was very lethargic, and his temperature was critically low - he didn’t even register on the thermometer. He was rushed to the vet where no one was sure he was going to survive the next few hours, but Marlo is a fighter. 

Marlo made it through the weekend, but is STILL in critical condition and his vitals are not where they need to be. He is currently on a number of medications and supplements through an IV and is receiving supportive care to regulate his body temperature. His medical team is trying to get him to eat on his own which will be critical to his survival. They are still trying to figure out what exactly is wrong with him but without your support we can not afford the tests needed for diagnostics.
