Wandering the streets, looking for home

Roxanne is a young, honey colored Boxer mix who was found alone on the streets of West Virginia. Homelessness is dog is difficult and often traumatic. Especially in the summer we worry about heat exhaustion, dehydration, and a lack of food. Having to contend with the elements and the cruelty of predators and often humans would have been difficult for a sweet dog like Roxanne.

Luckily rescuers were able to get her sheltered but that is not enough. Shelters are currently faced with overcrowding and in order for Roxanne to thrive it is best to get her homed as quickly as possible. We need to bring Roxanne to Homeward Trails and we need your help to do it. Once we have her we can work to get her into a loving home where she will be safe and cared for.
