Post Surgery
She was rushed in for emergency surgery and it was discovered that she had a larger than golf ball sized mass that was likely caused by a foreign body that entered through her skin or a puncture wound. Can you imagine such a big mass in such a little puppy? The good news is the complex surgery went well and in the last two weeks, Honey has been on the road to recovery.
This poor baby! She just arrived from Tennessee last weekend and a mass was discovered. It was thought to be a hernia. But Friday night, she fell and the hernia/mass burst. She was rushed to the vet to save her life. She is only 10 weeks old and needed emergency surgery.
You know that saying, "when it rains, it pours"?? Well, we have felt that over the last week. If you can help little Miss Honey, we would be grateful - she is a doll and deserves to live a long healthy life. She made it through surgery and is recovering. But it was a very expensive surgery. We want nothing more than to get this girl healthy and into her forever home, we could use your help to cover some of her treatment.
